The new Dell Duo....

[Ratbag]

I'm thinking of getting one of these, along with the speaker dock. It's just become available on Dells website.

I saw the early videos and there appeared to be some lag and glitches but I put this down to it being an early model. But the latest reviews question the performance of the system as a whole.

I'd have thought a dual core processor and 2GB RAM would suffice - but I guess the touch screen element might have some overhead. Or it could be all the crapware Dell installs bogging the system down.

Any opinons?

You might want to consider the Asus EP121.

i have the dell duo and i'm flogging it cos i want a new graphics card in my main pc.

it doesn't come with the Dock as standard but to be honest i never missed it.

it was a bit laggy but once i reinstalled windows and got rid of all dell's crapware, it flew.

it's very pretty too.

check it out before you commit to anything lad.
