i heard the negative space 1 was to confusing for the new owners. after all the positive talk of moving the sport forward.
the pre race build up showed they were clueless what needs to happen, including ross brawn

Good thing I'm being told what it's the logo for.

My guessing would have more likely been National Football League than Formula One.

And would still have thought it was a stupid logo of obfuscated text.

Given the logo consists of the letters "F" and "1" and the new one looks like neither, I think it fails at getting the basic idea across.

If I'd never watched or heard of F1 before and you showed me that logo, I wouldn't even know it said F1.

It just looks like a kitchen tap to me.

The whole marketing spiel and usage of "negative space" is correct. It shows they're out of touch with the fans.
