its a 3, I already have the 2 but the GM lenses are frustrating me and I cant be bothered waiting for sony to investigate.

Was looking in to this last night and discussing with Raymond.

Can see myself ending up with the R3 next year :D - oops!
 
The free neo 2 and half price sigma mount helped sway me, I planned on staying with the mk2 for a while but it’s always nice getting something extra.

I met with a Sony rep at the start of the week which was good. Tried the GM lenses on the mk2 / mk3 / A9 and it didn’t help, it’s all his fault lol
 
yeah totally his fault and not your own :p

I'll also blame him when explaining the 5k dent in the wallet next year to the wife :p

Seeing A7S3 not out yet, I don’t think it will, not for 18 months at least.

I think A9 will get the first bump as that is 18months old, probably once Canon and Nikon have played their hand out for a bit longer.
 
A7S3 is meant to be out next month, maybe October at the latest. According to sources its ready to launch. New GM lens with launch as well.

Rumours all over the place as there are a few going round that there might be a A9R body with a 96Mp sensor.
