The new Jaguar XJ

Seen 2 of these out and about on Saturday and overall I think its a nice looking motor. My only gripe is that rear end, not so much of an issue if your in it but it just looks so bizzare.
 
I'm not keen, I agree that it has lost it Jaguariness, it doesn't look svelte and ellgant anymore, it looks ungainly and slightly at odds with it's self ...but the interior is nice.

I went to the launch event in Coventry for the XJ last year, posted a thread up about it actually.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Jaguar XJ, and this one does not do it for me. I only got rid of mine as I really wanted an E39 540i and the Jag was in reality, a bit too soft for me. I'll probably have another Jag at some point though, probably not an XJ though ...unless I get an older one.
 
Dunno if its just me but that looks like a mondeo with a horrific grille attached to the front :/
 
Well having seen one in the flesh and had a good sit in it, fiddle with it's bits and suchlike, I quite liked it. Has great presence and part of me wants Jaguar to simply get it right, which to be fair they seem to be doing more and more these days. It's a grower I think.
 
Love it! In black it looks amazing. Darker colours suit it betterm such as dark blue.

Think its brilliant, hope it does well.
 
Guy that goes in my local has got one on order. Meant to get it later this month but it has been put back to early May due to electronic problems.
