Anyone have an opinion on one of these?

I'm really considering a new car now. just under 70 mpg 100 quid to tax

You won't get 70mpg from that. The manufacturer stated combined figure is 62mpg, and even then you'll be lucky to get near that.

Also, it seems odd to be spending ~£20k on a new car and stating it's primary benefits as mpg and low tax.

was just mentioning some of the stuff on the website.

I dunno I want something new but don't know what :p
 
Haven't driven one, but personally think Mazda have got the styling spot on with the new 6, both inside and out.
 
Will reserve judgement for when I see one in the flesh, but from those pictures . . meh.

I really like it. What competitors are at this price point? You've got the Skoda Superb, perhaps an A3 or A4?

Change the steering wheel badge and that could be any other executive saloon interior.

I disagree. I think the front end does look aggressive and the car in general is beautifully proportioned and styled. As good, if not better than the offerings of more prestigious marques.
