I just like the lines of the car, can't help it? looks very audi-a8ish to me which is great! it has that big-car-look to it.. ! I know it's a passat but IMO it looks good, obviously going to look dull and boring in base spec but I'm sure when the other trims are out it'll look good, especially with a little drop and bigger wheels

Also grill is way too big.. will become like every other passat in history - forgotten.

I will agree if we were talking abut the pre facelift rear end of the saloon, however the estate version and the face lifted saloon version both look quite good.

The irony of the snoozefest design is that it looks like its snoozing withs its droopy dopey face.

I quite like it, but then I have an old runabout 2.8v6 4mo as a 2nd car.

I like that it's perceived as dull and old man, means I can try to pick up a 3year old one with 4mo and hopefully a decent engine in future.

I honestly couldn't tell you what is different from the current model. Nice enough cars but nothing special like most VW's, they will probably sell millions of them.
