****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

Probably just going to buy one of each and speak to her on the day, take whichever one isn't wanted back. I can't be bothered trying to decide and get it wrong!
 
i registered mine and my daughters ds xls first then the games and i got the codes within about 2 mins.
playing through zelda again trying to go for 100% but its stupidly hard on hero mode!!
 
Was thinking about leaving the idea of buying the Zelda edtion one, as their is about £50 difference in the price. But I suppose once you buy the Zelda game, their isn't much in it. Roll on Friday payday!

The Zelda edition is not a good deal. The game that comes with it is download only.

I picked up a grey XL for £120 and paid £30 for Zelda, at least I can sell on Zelda once I clock it... plus don't forget to buy a charger.

Got my daughter a 3DS XL for Xmas - opened the box up and had a little play last night - just to check everything works ok.

Damn - I think I want one for myself too. :o
 
Just ordered Pokemon X the other day, arriving Saturday :D Can't wait.

Completed Link Between Worlds (not 100%, but the story) about 2 weeks ago, fantastic game. Painting mode works fantastically well, and not just a gimmick. Bought Steamworld: Dig the other day to tide me over. Big mistake, I've been well addicted to it :o

Is Bravely Default really cutesy? I like jrpgs, just as long as they aren't too sickly sweet. It's between this and Link Between Worlds when I go home for Christmas

Not really. The chibi characters are about as cutesy as it gets. The dialogue is cheesy at times but not cutesy and the subject matter can be pretty dark at times (mass genocide :p).

Its basically Final Fantasy like it was on the original DS. Apparently its the spiritual successor to Final Fantasy 4.
 
Amazon just honoured my order for a silver 3DS XL, charging cable, Monster Hunter 3 and circle pad pro for £124.99.

The order came as just the 3DS XL, but after speaking to support I got the other items ordered with no charge :D
