Seems like the rumoured side effects of using 3D for so long, or this method anyway, are true.

My worst fears are being realised as I originally said. The 3D aspect is more a gimmick/fad, which most will probably turn off once the initial "ooh" factor wears off.

On the Nintendo 3DS, glasses-free 3D is a gimmick. It's a gimmick, and people will buy the 3DS because of that gimmick.

It's like an echo!

The technology of the graphics unit is amazing and should be bought for the games that will be produced, they look cracking and I'm sure gameplay won't falter either.

If I could live with the 'Aqua' option I could have it for £189.95. Only Aqua I like though is my limited edition PS2 £10 more for the colour though - bah! Shame on you JL!

Indeed, I'm not actually *that* bothered about 3D, I'm indifferent to it if I'm honest, it's nice that it's there, but if it wasn't I'd still buy the 3DS anyway. Plus all the footage of games and stuff that I've seen have been in 2D and that has sold it to me so I don't really think I'd be disappointed with it at all, if the 3D effects aren't as great as I think they'll be then it's not a big deal as footage in 2D of the games has already sold the console to me.
