Nearly boguht a 3ds xl..but not many stores have them and the ones that do dont have zelda and generally charge more than opnline deals:/

Asda seemed to be cheapest at 170 quid without game:?
 
You can buy a 3DS XL with zelda for 169.99 from Amazon. You have to buy the charger on its own though because for some reason it doesnt come with the XL :confused:

The deal is buy the XL and get one game free out of Zelda, Mario Land 3D, Resi Evil and Theatrythem. Its the best and cheapest deal I have found which was why I bought it from there :) Although I was making a upgrade from my 3DS. But then I sold my 3DS to my brother cheap because he wanted one so I put the money from that towards buying the XL.

Also at badcompany. I gave up caring what people think now when I play pokemon :) As far as im concerned pokemon is an awesome rpg and well I've loved pokemon since I was young :p
 
Hi i wanted one in my hand to order online i wont get till Wednesday im impatient.

Pokemon. Class games. I got some ace mons and i don't care that none of my mates are remotely interested and take the mick too.
 
haha :p well that's the best deal I have seen. I heard game and gamestation are doing the XL with Kingdom Hearts for about 175quid. Not sure if thats an online deal online or if you can get that instore.
 
Well gotta ask yourself is it worth waiting until Wednesday and get a good deal that will save you approx 40quid. Remember you need to buy the charger which is like an extra 7quid.

Plus with the Amazon deal you get Zelda which I assumed was one game you wanted. So you could put that extra 40quid towards another game or a couple of cheaper ones.
 
They are really good RPG's :) granted it is seen as a "kiddy" game. But when you break it down it is a really hardcore RPG. You catch your pokemon and you want to be on the look out for optimal stats to train them to how you want to use them. Then on top of that creating a team that can work well together and be effective.

Theres a lot of online play for battling and trading. There is a really good community for that kind of thing.

Its a great game. But it is a game that is not for everyone. But you will never know if you don't try it out. Give pokemon black or white a go as they are the latest they are as far as I'm concerned its the most polished so far. Although pokemon black and white 2 are coming out early october.
 
Got my 3ds xl on Saturday with zelda as I've not played oot before. Had some annoyances with camera angles and dropping off bridges for no reason.

Overall is good. The 3d can look good but you have to be positioned just right to avoid a ghost image.
 
Just Picked an xl up on the weekend with a copy of nsmb2 and pretty chuffed with it so far love the weight of it nice to feel like your actually holding something substantial. My only complaints with it are the buttons could have done with being a bit bigger and whats with all the crappy bgm on the shop etc there should be a way to turn that off lol.

I really want a good rpg type game does anyone know if there are any good ones on the horizon seems a shame to play ds ones on it.
