Aye I'd agree with that, mine is solid although having to pull the back of to switch microsd over is a bit annoying. Glad I went with a 64GB card in the end, I've used 21GB already so I don't think I'll be taking that back off again anytime soon. :)

Transfer is done, monster hunting awaits!

Mine was meant to be delivered today. Amazon and the Chonopost tracking site kept updating me it was today.

Now Chronopost have had unexpected delays along the way and now have no idea when this is going to turn up.

Anyone else had this today?
 
I traded n my XL for a the new 3ds XL at game and got £70 off the purchase price. I also bought majora's mask. Using the SD card via PC the transfer was pretty fast.

Mine was dispatched yesterday with the expected delivery of Saturday or Monday. Coming from France, that is the time scale I was expecting.

But my cousin got an email THIS MORNING to say they cancelled his order due to stock issues. Yet he ordered a few minutes after me at Amazon Fr.
 
Okay chaps, if anyone can confirm whether or not there is noticeable "wobble" when the clamshell is in the normal open position for the New XL, it would be appreciated.

I'll try to get a video up later to show what I mean.
 
I thought the wobble was normal, people asked the same questions with the original XL, and when i owned one, it also had a wobble. So i'm guessing its no different for the New 3DS XL too.

edit: Its a design choice, something to do with it having lesser chance of snapping if its dropped.

The play in the unit is absolutely no different to my daughters old XL - it's the exact same amount of play.

Unless you have the screen flopping all over the place you have a perfectly ok n3DS.

New XL is £179.99
nDS is £149.99

I got the XL metallic blue which was on a bundle deal with majora's mask physical copy and a folio kit for £224.99. And I got £70 off trading in my old XL.
If your trading the deal is full purchase price. You take it away and have 7 days to bring it back.

The transfer time for me was very fast like 30 mins and that was after I put in the wrong key for my internet like a million times. As I only transferred over my Nintendo ID. I selected the via PC method to transfer the SD to micro SD card saving a lot of time.
What took the longest is before you can transfer the data the new machine has to do a system update (why they didn't sell them with the update already I don't know).
 
Had an email that my n3DS built for people with man sized hands a.k.a XL version will be arriving between 18.18 and 19.18 hrs. Oh, the suspense lol. Should be arriving with a cradle charger, Monster Hunter 4 and Majora's Mask ... that'll be me set for the weekend :)
 
Went into Game last night at midnight and picked up my n3DS. Alas I've been at work all day and haven't had a chance to get it out yet!
I ended up not picking up Majora's Mask in store, as I didn't really want to play £40 for it, with the £35 online preorder I had in.

That said, frustratingly my MM pre-order didn't appear today :( I may give Game a call later and see what they say, argue that I missed out on the instore deal because I was expecting my pre-order to arrive. That said neither did the memory card I ordered which I also thought might appear today, hopefully tomorrow. :(

The info I got at midnight last night seemed to suggest I needed to take the MM or XL/MH pack to get the discount they were doing on a few other games. The guy I got at the counter didn't seem 100% sure on a lot of stuff and I was very tired and felt too tired/uncomfortable last night to keep asking questions so bad combo!

I'll be taking my old 3DS in for the trade in on Monday. If they tell me I didn't need to have bought MM I may pick up MH4 at the £30 offer price.
Really want Pokemon X/Y if I can find it at a decent price (still £30 even on Sale at GAME instore), been putting it off for about a year lol

Excited, and trying to resist putting too much on the CC.

Edit: Scratch that, just been advised the memory card has just turned up at my families. I must have forgotten to amend an address somewhere on Amazon!

Still no game though!
Majora's Mask, Pokemon X/Y, Monster Hunter 4, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Fantasy Life are the ones I want to play most I think :)

Due to an admin error, I appear to have been sent an XL that I cancelled the pre-order for (and got refunded), oops.
