The **Now Drinking** Thread

Just come back from a meal with mates, had some of the worst tasting beer i've ever had. Some German 'White Beer' or something that was cloudy and tasted like ****e and also some Italian champagne.


God I hate champagne.

By the sounds of things you had some very bad quality weissbier and bad quality champagne. Most pub weissbiers like Erdinger or Hoegaarden are awful. There is far better stuff out there.

As for the champagne, if you can still feel it afterwards it's likely a cheap one with high acidity. There are some great champagnes which you would really enjoy, I'm sure. Something like Deutz is horrific in comparison to something like Pol Roger which is yummy.

I am great lover of Tanglefoot, be it in pie, or in can, bottle or off the pump. One of the best beers in the world hands down.
