The **Now Drinking** Thread

Carlsberg Export bottles.
Reading some of your posts DJ as a fellow norn iron man i got to know. How can you drink so much Harp?! Its plain awful!

just had a Crabbies Ginger beer. lovely and refreshing.

Good choice, I picked up a four pack from Sainsbury's yesterday. Really enjoyed it, though after chilling it in the fridge, I'm not sure it needed the extra ice.

Hmm I'm tempted to have another bottle now before dinner :o

Only £25 in ASDA atm.

Hah, I almost picked up some of the ASDA value bitter today. How is that? If it was 4% then I think it would be acceptable (almost) but at 2% I really can't see the point especially as I don't imagine the taste is up to much.

I'm on Biere De Luxe (ASDAs own label, but astonishingly tasty lager).

Top stuff that Balvenie.
Having a coors light, 45 minutes in freezer.
Perfect.

Agreed, it's my favourite whisky. If I could afford another bottle whilst it's so cheap I'd quickly do it but the Glasgow meet means I can't!

The value bitter is crap so I wouldn't bother TBH. I can't imagine any other cheapo brews being any good either.

The worst cheapy beer ive ever drunk was steiger, back when i was 16. £9.50 for 24 cans, four of us used to buy a case each on a friday night, tasted slightly better after four or five of them. I can remember a few years later, it was advertised on telly. we had a bit of a chuckle, and thought that it must have improved to the point were theyre selling enough of it to afford a tv ad.

Lol, when we started to make a bit more cash, we "upgraded" to harp and tennents, felt like kings tbh.:D

No beer in the house tonight, but had a few pints of guinness after work this evening, very nice.
