The **Now Drinking** Thread

Seems a bit more watery than normal now, not even heard of the vintage one, wheres that from?

Tried both imperial red and the new hobgoblin gold.
Was looking forwards to the red, dissapointed tho.
The gold I thoguht I wouldnt be too keen on but it's fairly decent tbh

HAving an old crafty hen as its back on 3 for £5 in tesco :p
Like hell am I paying almost £3 a bottle haha

It's a thatchers blend with a high % like the katy, 7.4% as well I think although it doesn't really taste too strongly of alcohol. I've found it in the local supermarkets and off license every now again as it's out of stock half the time, it's usually near were the katy would be. I think gold is my favourite although premium vintage works well if you need a tasty drink to get you drunk fast. :p

Just found my local supermarket now has an American section. Hell yeah:

Had a bottle conditioned IPA (Citra hops) from The Kernal Brewery in London.

Quite possibly the nicest IPA I've ever had, if not the best beer ever! Fully recommend for those who like a big citrus hoppy kick. It smelt divine too. My gf was addicted to the smell and she doesn't normally like beer. She kept stealing my glass to stick her nose in :D

I love the Kernel stuff. Try out their mosaic beer too. So delicious :)
