Enjoying a nice glass of génépi from a bottle we picked up in Meribel whilst skiing last week. Not sure how much I like it because it's actually nice and how much because it reminds me of the time on the slopes away from it all and chilling with my friends, either way: santé to you all.

My (limited) experience of white rioja is hugely disappointing if you're expecting something like a rioja but a solid white wine if you go in expecting a white wine.
I've had a few different white Rioja's over the years and have found a few that pack a rich flavour and you know what you are drinking.
This one I tried was very mild to the point I would be hard pressed on a blind test to identify it.
But that said, it was quite nice.

a bit midweek naughtiness had a coupla hobgoblins... have they changed the recipe? seems quite bland
Banana liqueur is awesome, Works in a number of different cocktails.
If your interested in making the Alien Urine Sample this is the recipe. Mix all the ingredients except the lemon & lime soda in a cocktail shaker with ice, give it a good shake, then pour over ice and top with the soda. Soda has a typo, should be 45ml, not 15ml.
