The **Now Drinking** Thread

Just home from work, time for a strongbow and then off to bed. Stupid 9 nightshifts in a row, I hate xmas and all you people that buy so much food!

My dad got me a crate of assorted Wychwood Brewery ales for my birthday last week. Drinking the Fiddler's Elbow atm. Wychwood are so awesome.

Kopparberg (Kopp-ARR-berr-y not bloody copper-burg) is what the Swedes called 'cider' but it's just sweetened pear wine with fizz. I mean it's nice & refreshing, but really it's an incredibly girly drink in a manly bottle!

(I do like it myself, but it goes down rather too easily.)

Sadly I can't manage to drink real cider any more (some synapse of mine has linked its taste to a spell of food poisoning I had one Christmas), usually drink ales. There's a Newky Broon upstairs waiting for me later if I fancy is...

Spoons did do koppa! I drank that, then some bulmers and magners through a night on the town.

I woke up with such a dry mouth though:o My stomach was hurting most of the day after to.
