ooh, my parents went away last week. and when they came back they bought me this.

Ah, a fellow Calvados fan. Not many of us around. I haven't had a bottle for a while, but hoping to be in France next month so going to pick some up.

Also looks like I'm going on a stag trip to Rioja at the end of June so looking forward to stocking up on wine. :D Long drive, but sure it'll be worth it. Expect to see a thread about Rioja and what I should be buying when (if?) the trip is confirmed.

Now having a cup of Assam tea.

Not a wine drinker myself but I worked for a while in Northern Spain and it is a beautiful place and you should have a great time :D

Lucky you! Look out for 2001 vintages, very enjoyable right now.
