The **Now Drinking** Thread

Just polishing off the last of the Jackson Estate Stich 2011 Sauvignon Blanc I had with my chicken liver risotto for dinner. Very nice wine indeed.

Think I may get stuck into the Laphroaig PX cask (matured in Pedro Ximenez casks) I bought at Heathrow on the way back from Egypt. Fabulously tasty whisky - another winner from Laphroaig

I'm halfway through an incredible bottle of Château Sainte Catherine 2009 from les côtes de Bordeaux.

I am going to miss being able to buy incredible wine for under €5. :(

Homebrewwwwwwwww! start of my long weekend, the 40 pints are looking thin, need to brew some more. two batches might last longer than 3 weeks..... hopefully!

Sierra Nevada torpedo. It's a superb version of their IPA which is superb.

Was at a whisky tasting event tonight, hosted by a bloke from Auchentoshan. 3 of them, and 3 Glen Garioch's. Superb night. £10 for 6 drams (and cheese). Great value. Bought a bottle of Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve afterwards which is going to be opened shortly. Wanted to get the Auchentoshan 18 but it was way out of my price range.
