The **Now Drinking** Thread

What a splendid drink, fruity piney aroma gushing out as soon as the crown seel was broken, smooth citrus flavour, grapefruity lemon zest flavours with a mellow and buetifully contrasting bitterness, I'm falling in love with these American ipa/pale ale. Just splendid.

Role on the weekend!

Need to update my glass selection to fit my drinking, need to banish all my laser etched glasses, they destroy the carbonation in these more refined ales.

lacing people!!! (cheers take some advice lol)

In all seriousness though its a phenominal ale, this has jumped right in as one of my all time favourites.

Lol won't be long now mate, who or what are you driving for, it's a silly mans move on a Friday night.

Not much choice in the matter I'm afraid, picking the folks up from the Airport and then the other half from work later tonight.

just finished my coffee, checked arrival time and it's delayed lol

As do all the big name lagers for the most part, keeping the prices down avoiding a higher tax band incurred by a 5% brew apparently.

Watermelon wine. Home brew from a massive watermelon. It was pretty mad tasting but it's suddenly starting to mellow.

Innis and gunn blonde, fantastic ale with strong pepper notes and a cutting bitterness that is smoothed with a unique smoothness from the aging innis and gunn have given to this unique ale, the aroma is buetifull.

chimay, wow the aroma really doesn't prepare you for the assault on the taste buds, harsh biscuit and malty tones, adding in the yeast changes the flavor and melows the bite a little, enough to make it a different beast, slight alcahol warming on the gut but not un pleasant.

8/10
