The **Now Drinking** Thread

Watermelon wine. Home brew from a massive watermelon. It was pretty mad tasting but it's suddenly starting to mellow.

Please tell me you have hair like doc martin from back to the future, if you don't my image of you in a white coat will be ruined :D

Tired and soaking wet, a far cry form sunny Canada lol Yes mate managed to squeeze a can in while a M&S special chills ;) Have to admit I liked the Rum Cask myself though deffo not my fav Innis&Gunn.

Must be a shock to the system landing back in the uk, weather being last on the list of adjustments. would love to go to Canada, like America without the guns, or idiots :).... unfair realy as I'd love to do a micro crawl through America I can only imagine it would be the crawl of a lifetime :(

Innis & gunn really know how to put there stamp on a drink, Really have a new appreciation for there brews.

Another goose island, a break for the taste buds and a bloody fine drink, really recommended to any one who can try it. Need to reign in the taste buds a little as
Its a pricey interest to have!

American brews seem to be tickling me at the moment, I do read that American hops do tire after a while but I'll let you know when I get there.

A guilty admission by me though, I had my first Guinness 3 weeks ago and I keep meaning to bye a 4 pack of draught but I neve seem to be able to bring my self to it, not because I won't enjoy... I know I will. It's rather I know it supposed to be liquid gut in a can an that keeps swaying me away!

Dirty how is the guinness lager? Have you tried it?

I love it. Guinness Black Lager :) Vicisthebest asked me a while back when it was going to be released in UK mainland but the person I asked never bothered getting back, can only guess they didn't have an answer. Have you seen it for sale in England?

Oh and M&S Southwold Summer Beer :D ' Zesty flavour of gratefruit, sweet with a hint of bitterness' it's very nice indeed though I do prefer the Southwold Blonde Beer.

Thornbridge south pacific ale.

First ale I have had where real strong piney notes dominate all of the aroma and flavour, there's a spicynes but it is more of deep herbal spice that realy holds the bitterness too, a dominant flavour thought, enjoyable but I'd imagine a acquired taste.

Still nice, a 6.5

this thread is the only place i have seen it, i was intrigued but never got round to asking. looks like the next natural progression of the company, why they would need a trial is beyond me but i hope they introduce it here, seems like a cracking drink that could realy do well.

TBH I never thought I'd be that fussed on it, but it does have a great taste to it. It's also not as costly to buy as some of the ones you have killed off tonight (approx £5.15 for a 4 pack 330ml bottles):p

Tonight is a once in a blue mate. 330's are not my usual hunting ground but I do like to have once a month where I have a foray in too, some new ground, tonight cost me £30 there abouts, a couple of goose island, an extra American ipa etc. would love to do a swap if there is anything your after, always worth a look,as postage from beer sites is astronomical any way... Nothing you fancy that is cheaper here?

Food for thought mate, I'll have a hunt around and see what I can't source and am sure you wouldn't say no to some Guinness Black Lager :D

Last of my beer and bedtime :)

Some cans tonight, a mix of carlsberg and tennents. Basically what was in the fridge, 2 hour drive from work today and straight to the pub, (down in dungannon). Just relaxing now at home.

*Yawn*.

Finished my teaching course today, taught the rest of the teachers how to make raw eggnog today. There was quite a lot of awful whisky consumed at 11am ;)!
Moved onto the Directors around 2pm, followed by a bottle of Merlot. Few cans of Tennent's, then multiple Bombay & Tonics (though there was a Newky Brown, and few other pints thrown in). I recall trying a Disarano and Orange Juice which was stupidly awesome! Ended up in a celidh club, drinking Tennent's and Talisker (not together).

Bus from Edinburgh around half 1, and now just nursing a Aberlour 10.

I use this as a cry for help, if nothing else. ;)
