Opened a 3 Monts 33cl... just before dinner..

Just found that a 75cl bottle of 3 monts costs £5.99 here, in france €2.57 or £1.83.. that's some markup!

This lot was €50 (£35) including the Affligem!


Good thing the mrs doesn't drink and is french.. and I can make use of her quota..

:eek: its £1.83?!? Think I need a trip to France (massively jealous as that is one amazing beer)
 
Ok, so I admit I froze the beer in the freezer after forgetting about it.. well it's currently now in the fridge warming up.. it's more slush puppy with icebergs now.. should be fine and cool :)

Taste great.. 8.5% slush puppy foam head and liquid beer. Refreshing!

Ahh can say from experience - the french beer behaves itself.. no fountain or freeze over. Well except one particular beer I have made from red wine that doesn't even need freezing to Etna..
