Standard for a double IPA. Heck my gingerbread stout last night was 10.1% and some my favoured Belgian trappiste beer are 10-11%.

Straight jamison whiskey, no water or ice. Finished work at 4.00 today, few beer then on to whiskey. Thought id just carry it on. Helped that i had a good hearty dinner courtesy of our current employers.:)

so, just wondering.

Am i the only person that can not help but fall asleep after a beer? I have a cheeky pint waiting for the mrs yesterday when i got home i fell asleep fairly quick..

I either need to drink more, or sleep. I often see people say nip out for a few pints then take the kids on a bike ride or something. I dont even know how they do it? can only assume they don't have the same affect

Genetics play a big part in how individuals deal with alcohol, especially your heart rate, it decreases some peoples rate and increases others.

I'm the same if I have one pint I end up sleepy.

Depends very much on my overall mood but yes in general and very much yes if I have exercised or lack of sleep.

Lol, having to use a glass for the tins. The ring pull was catching on my moustache and pulling the hairs out. Bottled guinness is one that used to be really popular in my locals, rarely see it now. A lot of the older regulars would only drink it from the shelf. Any from the cooler was sacrilege.

This stuff was for exporting to the USA. Slightly stronger than regular ;)

I'll keep you the next one (whatever it is). :)
