A restaurant called Etci Kitchen in Brighton (one of my favourite restaurants here) and a mixed Shish kebab (with couscous and salad). Their Baklava is insane. I’m a bit full though

Tried a new takeaway. Weird combo of Scampi & Chips, a burger and some gravy.
I wouldnt normally trust a place that does burgers as well as fish n chips but the burger was really good actually. Lovely Scampi and chips, gravy was Bisto so they need to up their game on that.
Serves you right for not getting chip shop curry sauce IMO.
Loads of my local chippy’s now are in the 21st Century - They literally do all sorts these days.
One even has touch screen ordering

My local one does Jacket Potatoes, Wraps, Chilli, Chicken Curry! Absolutely everything.
Quite a few good ones I used to love a 1/2 Burger Meal but despite my at times terrible diet have avoided takeaways with rubbish meat content these days.
Good to see you are enjoying english food again and not that foreign rubbish you have had to endure the last few weeksNot had a curry for almost three weeks
So was no other choice
Hot chicken Balti and Peshawari naan for me

When I say chippies doing burgers, yep they have always done burgers as far as I remember but they were always like a crap rustlers or whatever. This place is making a point of doing proper burgers from scratch.
Yeah judging by the Brioche Bun that would be considered gourmet in my neck of the woods
The opposite of an Italian Pizza for me tonight! With some ketchup to dip.

Mate, Etci is great. That's pearl barley though, not couscous. They lied to you lol
