My chicken tikka pathia. Very nice indeed. A unique taste, it starts off sweet then goes slightly sour. Nice heat too

the pathia at your place seems a lot thinner than my one. Im not sure which one is closest to how it should be.Looks nice Rob and even better you enjoyed.
All these restaurants have their own way and style, it’s amazing how they all differ.
Will it go on to the would order again list?

I would order again yes, but tbh, there’s very few curries that I wouldn’t order again, it’s just all so good
Couple of places near me do a “Thicker” and “Lumpy” version with added Onions and Peppers, I don’t prefer those, much rather have a thick saucier but smoother version.
The one from my preferred Indian blows the others out of the water!
No peppers in mine, just onion, thick sauce and chicken. I like onion in curry though, adds a nice fresh crispness to the texture.Couple of places near me do a “Thicker” and “Lumpy” version with added Onions and Peppers, I don’t prefer those, much rather have a thick saucier but smoother version.

Locally for us it depends if the place is using Afghan or Bangladesh chefs, with imo the Bangladesh being better.

Another place near here though puts loads of onions, peppers and tomato in their madras. It’s too much. It bulks the sauce up so much that it is more like a spicy stew than a curry. I mean, look how crammed it is
