How much is a small doner where you live?Orange Chips and Kebab with lashings of Tommy K.
Not too sure, this was £9 for Naan, Doner, Chips (Salad which I turned down)

The reason I ask is my local kebab place has put their small doners up to £13. That’s getting way too pricy imo. Small shish kebabs are £14.
Was going to be duck today, but got a decent price on some fresh Skate.
Floured with added sriracha sweet and sour seasoning to mine, with boiled and then pan fried Jersey's, tinned sweetcorn (OH prefers) little leaf and capers.

My grandad ate skate and chips from the chippie every Friday for about 50 years. I tried it but didn’t like the cartilage the chippie left in it. Every mouthful had some in.
Was the chippie owned by Mr Magoo or were you eating it with a chainsaw
It is one piece, like shark and is eaten by pulling down the wings, or cartilage (shark) with a fork or similar, with the cartilage left intact.
I wouldn't give up on tbh and would recommend trying it again at somewhere that knows the what they are doing.
