It was ok, only half hour. A few Essex MP’s backing it and for their own reasons, Jim Shannon and Gavin Williamson. South and east London MP’s were conspicuous in their absence, but the demographics of those areas means they probably don’t give a ****, despite Southwark having the first and most famous pie and mash shop, Manze’s on Tower Bridge Road.How was the debate Rob?
A lot of the debate seemed to concentrate on the fact that we don’t celebrate our own food enough. We have around 30 protected foods whereas the likes of France has over 600.
