Decided to make a BIR Masala (Paneer Masala)

It turned out really good, pictures don’t do it justice but 100% Takeaway style, taste and consistency was bang on.

Parts of the process…

Final Product!

Have you pre-made the base gravy? It took me the best part of a day to make that alone the last time I did BIR.

I have 2 Pouches of Pre Made left, so no!

Today I picked up Disposable Plastic Tupperware to store Base Gravy, Tomato Paste Base.

So all on the to do list

@caff here's the recipe

For each piece of chicken breast/thigh:
a dash of groundnut oil (most other oils also work just fine)
2 tbsp ground corriander
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp amchoor (dried mango powder)
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon

The chicken was left to marinade overnight and then cooked on a hot griddle.
Nice one, thank you! Luckily I have all these things.

I made baked rice pudding yesterday. Grated some nutmeg over the top and baked in the oven for 2 hours. It's delicious. Some people hate skin on rice pudding but I love it. :D.

That looks really nice.

IMO If there is no skin on a rice pudding, it must have been bought from the market :D

Thanks. Yes, agreed! :D That said, I could have made it Muller rice style by doing it all on the hob in 30 minutes and no baking with no skin, but baked is better! :)
