Rice always looks good, if this isn’t a packet then please teach me :D

Ha!

Long grain basmati

Rince in cold water until it runs clear
Fresh cold water and heat until boiling
Turn down and simmer (I don't bother with a lid)
Test after eight minutes and.keep.going until cooked to hot liking
Drain then leave in the sieve or collinder over the pan and whack.a clean tea towel over until you serve

Eat :D

I shall try dig out a none Pathia stained tea towel for the process :cry:
 
Buy a rice cooker. Easiest way

Or if not a big eater of rice I was taught:
1 cup of washed Basmati to the same cup = a cup and a quarter of water.
Place on heat and cover and lower heat once it starts to boil and time 10 minutes.
Take off heat, enjoy or add some butter, stir and leave in pan with lid on and it will remain good for quite a while.
