The **Now Eating** Thread

ah, good on ya.

I really should get back on the wagon but morning breakfast is difficult - no cereal, no pastry, very difficult working in an office. Also, have you noticed how much more expensive meals are now without grain?!

I'm just not hungry at breakfast anymore on paleo I can quite easily just snack on fruit till lunch.

Expensive yes sort of but in comparison to what? I was never the type to fill a shopping trolley with low cost high carb or grain items so for me not a great deal of difference.

It's helping my colitis as well :)

For example at lunch time.

You can get a 99p baguette with all sorts of fillings at lunch near work. There is no place that sells 99p baguette, unless I just want a head of lettuce. :p

Birmingham.

I can get a bacon and egg bap for £1.25.

A foot long chicken tikka, tuna salad, crab salad, all sorts of fillings baguette for 99p.

Even a Sainsbury's meal deal is £3, soup from Eat is £3.45 for the medium one, Salad from
Pret is about £4 and to be honest, half the time I just end up getting a bag of salad for £1 and some chicken for £2 from the deli counter at Tesco and keep a bottle of olive oil at the desk.

See once again this is when I'll be 'skirting around the edges'... I plan on making up some soft wraps, chicken, lettuce, sweet peppers.

Early lunch... late lunch plan has yet to be decided.
