its not sweet as the raspberries are reduced in cider vinegar and then chilli added, I though it would be odd but it really worked

perfectly good without the sauce too :p
 
This weeks treat... (yes I know :p)


Cottage pie with cheese fluffed mash and cheese topping. So errrm healthy, but epic!

Knocked up a turkey sausage casserole in the slow cooker. Found a recipe on the internet and fiddled with it a bit. Absolutely delicious and only 351 kcal per portion (without the tatties). I could have done without the tatties and it would have been fine but I was well under budget so treated myself. Would also be good with pasta or a bit of crusty bread.

Casserole looks lovely but never been a fan of boiled spuds unless they're new potatoes. Just a bit flavourless imo. I'd have had mash with that. Would have gone lovely with the sausages and the thick stock.

I love boiled tatties - especially with the skin on. I like mash as well but I'm trying to keep the calories down so cutting back on butter and the likes.
