you failed to share a photo of your glorious Indian delights… yet somehow the Chinese feast gets the full paparazzi treatment…

Another Friday, another curry
Not eaten anything all day so ordered 2x Masala’s for myself

Yesterday was my birthday and my tame girlfriend treated me and her to an 8 course + extra's at the 2 Michelin * Hide and Fox in Hythe + a stay at the Hythe Imperial hotel.
Their stock of local wines, bubbles, beers and spirits is superb as is their international list.
All washed down with one of our favourite Balfour bubbles.
Not added in such a correct order.
Amuse-bouche + off menu birthday homemade mince pie (this was served last)
Homemade bread + butter and brown stuff
Hamachi
Duck Liver Mouse
Doppio Raviolo
Venison
Cod
Blur Monday - Alex James
Tunworth - Another famous bloke
70% Guanaja Sorbet
Kentish Apple Tart
The food and service was outstanding.
Their stock of local wines, bubbles, beers and spirits is superb as is their international list.
All washed down with one of our favourite Balfour bubbles.
Not added in such a correct order.

Ouch!I deserved that. I had couple of pints of Cobra, got home and all I could think about was diving straight into that curry! Been slacking with pics I know

Wife and I will have to make a booking!
It is our second visit now, with the first being after their first star and this now after winning their second and is well worth booking.
Incredible! I can’t wait already.

For anybody following along on the 2.0 flour, it's slightly slacker and a bit more crispy. And in the suppliers words, it's a healthier flour and easier to digest
I had to lower the hydration a little to 62%
