Got free roasted hazelnuts from Lidl and didn't really know what to do with them so made a hazelnut cake, with hazelnut buttercream and a bit of caramel on top (not enough ) and some ground hazelnuts to finish.

Nothing quite like a visit to the Curry house after a fresh nose wax, the smell intensifies

Curry was lovely, never ever had a bad Curry from GOA - The Staff are mega too, I’m almost at the point where I could probably pull my own pint

Basically WKD on steroids, Vodka based.. went down like pop and had you licking lamp posts by 1AM.

That's how burgers should be, not those ridiculous towers you can't even bite. I have this strange thing with sesame seed buns. I get great satisfaction from dabbing the escaped seeds with a finger to hoover them up.

Starting at The Fish in the Cotswolds. Mussels followed by cod katsu curry. Fabulous.




Followed by Trillium in Birmingham. Probably the best dinner of the year. Really got something good going here.
