I can only remember you having one chance and you decided to "square"it when you were pretty much clear on goal. I had a lot more of the play but I couldn't look at the stats as you quit early so we'll never know :rolleyes:

You can't catch me now so it was a big win. Bring on Fubsy :D
 
Haha, I'm not saying you didn't play well. There was a blatant penalty claim for me though! Plus I've been having a mare with Fifa recently, seems everything I try and do doesn't quite work, whether its players getting in the way of passes, or passes not going far enough, I'm tempted to chop the game in and give UEFA a go.

I prefer UEFA now, like I said in the other thread it has ironed out a lot of the bad things about FIFA, it's harder to score now too you can't go from being good at FIFA to UEFA and expect to beat everyone (unfortunately :D)
 
That's the thing, I'm getting bored of FIFA, its all a bit repetitive (especially the flaws), I've overplayed if it anything, problem is I think the single player is abosolute pap in football games, but I can't see UEFA having such a big online following.

I never got bored of playing FIFA but people's argument is that EURO is not worth it for the lack of club teams but if you only play online how many club teams do you actually play? 4? Man U, Barce etc etc...So I couldn't give a toss really about club teams anymore :(
 
I like having the club teams, not everyone insists on being Barca or Man U. Had a good game earlier with my team Palace v Stoke. More teams definitely adds to the longevity of the game. Just wish the single player was better. Its bloody annoying not being able to tackle the computer when all they do is get the ball turn around and go backwards.

Cheers for the game mate, that first goal was probably my best ever goal.
Don't know what it was like your end but Lag was quite bad my end. I'm guessing that contributed somewhat towards the result

I think I was very lucky to win that one. it was fairly even until I scored then I was just playing with 11 men behind the ball!!
