In the second half I did exactly that. I pummelled him and should have scored bucket loads, even one where his keeper made a save, fell to my man, lovely header towards an open goal, and amazingly his keeper recovered, sprinted across the goal, and managed to keep it out.

I created far more chances with the 3 pronged attack, but alas no end product, a little like Tottenham this season.
 
I'm not really enjoying the Euro08 version outside of captain your country mode atm. Something just feels off about it and the amount of glitches in there is ridiculous, I wouldn't recommend it to people at full price.

Yeh the glitches are horrendous, last night i was playing the pitch started flashing, its pretty shoddy. Every third game i have one or two players dissapear but still play on, was quite annoying, i was taking the ball out of defence and a phantom guy robbed me of the ball and scored :p

Hopefully patch will fix it.
 
So Far:
I had a invisible man meet with a cross and stick it in the goal. No one was anywhere near the space.
The ball zoom around the pitch like it was possessed before 'snapping' back to my players feet.
Numerous crashes at half/full time.
Players (all of them) freezing in the middle of a game, a quick pause unpause and they are all fine again.
The flashing pitch during cut scenes.
The usual vanishing hair issues.
A ball passing through 3 mens bodies (not just hands) to reach the back of the net.
'Joe cole looking to get forward here' when England are nowhere near the pitch and the player on the ball is certainly not Joe Cole.
On the stats table the country logos vanishing sometimes all sometimes a few.

Jeez, I've played two Online Tournaments online and about 20 games offline and haven't had any of these issues!

Tell me about it, I have 8 people to play and no-one has come online in ages. Shame really as I want to get those games played, and have been wanting to for weeks.

It is apparently the last day to complete the fixtures today, but with it being Friday I really can't see everyone I need to play being about.
