Sell them to friends who dont have access to the MM :D

Its a particularly stonking deal on the 7850!

Yes and those 7850's clock like crazy as they are a special build item by HIS, uses 7870 PCB and the 7870 blower cooler. Awesome cards!
Put it this way we've sold a few hundred and to date its our most un-returned card ever. As we've had a total are ZERO return un-wanted or faulty!

It clocks to 7870 performance and beyond pretty easily and remains quiet whilst doing so. :)

Just as I decided I'd probably stick with my 670 SLI and not switch to AMD cards...

So... are any of the 7970s not voltage locked, reference PCB (for waterblock purposes) and made by someone that doesn't void warranty if cooler is removed for a waterblock?

Is it worth going 7970s over 7950s?

X2 cooler is superb, a forum member did a review recently and the high point was how amazing the cooler was yet quiet. :)

It was stulid, but he said that the card he had were the first ones which clocked much higher then current ones. But overall looking at reviews this cooler is even cooler then windforce x3.

Yes he had an X edition, same cooler though. :)

Yes they beat WindForce, infact HIS on cooling performance and quietness are like no.1 :)

Shame I didn't want to wait intill x2 comes back in stock as at the time you didn't even know if you were going to stock them. But bought my IceQ for 221.99 or similiar from OCUK with 3 games which I sold and the card came out at a cost of 190 pounds. The card (7950 IceQ ofc) is quieter then my BeQuite shadows (stock 1500rpms) at 7v (roughly 1100rpm) :o

Anyone had any experience with the HIS 7950 IceQ X²? I've got the full-size Phantom case so size shouldn't be a problem. I could afford the 7970 but not sure if the performance difference is worth it (I know this is subjective of course). Great offer though OcUK!

You can OC a 7950 close to a 7970, so if you think about it, you're paying about £100 for whatever OC you an get out of a 7970...
