Traditionally we've given out Man of Honour awards early in the year and the eagle eyed among you will have noticed that over the last two years, we haven't done this. The reason for this is that we've had technical issues that have stopped us from being able to issue them. That doesn't mean we've been sitting idle though and each year, we've talked about who we would like to give the award to.
With the new and upgraded forum software, we're back in a position to make these awards and so without further ado, here are your Men of Honour for 2020 and 2021.
Men of Honour 2020
@Robbo and @Admiral Huddy - Two former members of the mod team that put a great deal of time and effort into the forums for a number of years.
@explicit4u - An all round great guy, who has gone the extra mile in the the Football Stadium, creating multiple match day threads week in, week out for the past few years.
@Flibster - For his consistent and detailed updates within the F1 Race threads, posting team radio transcripts and important details that may otherwise have been missed.
Men of Honour 2021
@Brizzles - In recognition for the contribution he has made in the consistent production of signature images.
@Hades - Hades posted a thread on testicular cancer, raised awareness and encouraged others to get checked. This led to at least one member discovering they too had the same disease.
@MooMoo444 - An excellent all-round poster with a clean record. He has contributed respectfully to many of the busiest sub forums, putting effort in to communicating his opinion in a succinct and concise manner, without being drawn in to arguments.
