Bah, wouldn't mind staying out later but can't be bothered with trousers and shoes just to go to a club.

In SWANSEA? :(

In such an area I'd firgured they'd be more relaxed. Shoes and jeans OK?

Shoes and Jeans would be fine :D

I have my works do on the 19th starting at 1.30pm !

Going to be a cracking weekend ;)

Shoes? SHOES? Does Gilly know this? :p

Would rather wear smart trainers myself but I'll bring some shoes down too.

I'll be doing that too. *sigh*

Shoes suck.

Just checked my Rota and I'm off on the 18th wohoo !!

No rushing home to get ready yaaay ! :D

"smart casual" usually means Jeans ok but no trainers

most town centre pubs I know dont allow trainers at weekends and clubs would almost certainly not allow them

Lack of any other shoes and no urge to buy some new ones means I definitely won't be clubbing then :p
Really not much of a clubbing person anyhow :) Prefer pubs.

Go anywhere remotely requiring shoes and you can count me out.

I have principals to stick to. It's one of the reasons I don't go to Swansea on a night out (that and the fact it's heaving with people I don't want to be around).

Still that'll be an extra seat for someone :)

I've been in the Brynymor for the last two Swansea 'events' - both times in trainers. So, unless they've changed their rules, I don't see that being a problem.

Not a clubbing type myself - I tend to just sit around on the sidelines. Probably back to the hotel for me then.

Doubt u'll go back to the hotel, im guessing only a minority of us will be clubbing and the rest will be in the pubs:)

I'm not sure about the clubbing thing either, being such an old geezer. We normally end up in a curry house after leaving the pub and that tends to work quite well.........

Sounds like a plan, being an old geezer I tend to concur with the lets not bother going clubbing thing although a late bar before the curry would be the ideal solution :)
