Well, looks like after all that I won't be able to make it, much to my annoyance. Bought a car at the start of the month and was hoping to have enough money left over to come along, but it looks like I cannae spare the cash.

Shame really, I really enjoyed everyone looking in awe at my
censored.gif
last time... ;) You'll just have to make do without my sparkling conversational skills.

Gillbot - The wife has the w/e off so I'm going down (hur) a day early for extra Christmas treats :D I did tell you this at the UB Do, but I think it was after the Gin :p

when you get out of your local area, follow the blue/brown/purple/pink/black/yellow/red/green brick road! you'll get to swansea in a day or two :p

. Alas, I remember it well. We're going to have a hard time topping that secret santa. I think I've still got a picture or two of it somewhere, but I value my forum account. :)

Now for the bad news/good news. My mum was rushed into Hospital monday lunchtime, and as a result, I was on the verge of cancelling. However, I got a call from her tonight and she's well on the road to recovery, so it's all systems go and see you in Swansea. :)

Apologies. Thought I'd actually told you then. Would have said something sooner if I'd realised.

M1 South
Junction 23A - A42 West (towards B'ham)
Turns into M42
Follow to end
M5 South
Junction 15 - M4 West
Junction 42 - A483 into Swansea. Marriot hotel is on the docks somewhere. Can't help you with this anyway. Phone Leon when you get here if you get lost.
 
Marriot is on the marina/docks. Quite easy to find!

If you find sainsbury's or tesco, you're very near, just follow the road along with the sea on your left... You should see the large hotel from a distance :)

I have a navigator.... So no doubt be swinging past Edinburgh on the way then :p

Only problem is I think I'm coming down with something at he moment :(
Don't feel ill but seem to have zero energy. My mother is also the same at the moment. Not sure I'll be 100% with it at the weekend.

I'll just have to make the drive a bit more spirited - it'll keep you awake :p Or you can just sleep since you're not driving anyway ;)
