I was all set on buying a 11" pro to go with my 12.9 pro till i started playing around with one these new mini's in my local store
Now am going around in circles between a 11 pro & new mini :o

Or will i just end up saying blow it and just buy both of them :cry::cry:

What was it about the mini that has you in a quandary?

Mostly the size & weight of it knowing that you could rip this thing out and use it almost anywhere like a mobile phone
Thinking it also be an easy size to take with me when i go out for rides on the motorbike

Just invested in one of these in the hope I can use it for note taking at work and other bits (have a pencil arriving tomorrow).

Either I don’t have the Jelly scroll issue or my eyes just aren’t up to scratch to see it.

So far liking it a lot, it just seems so much more nimble than my full iPad, especially considered I want it for the real basic stuff.

Gone for the iPad mini 6 tonight - Very are offering 10% off Apple products. Had to go with a janky starlight colour but one doesn't spend time looking at the back so I'll let that go. It should be amazing to use the A15 after the A8 in my iPad mini 4.

That's a huge upgrade. 6x faster ST, 10x faster MT. 30x faster GPU.

Gosh, I can tell it's much more nippy right away. Apps take 1-2 seconds to download and install instead of nearly a minute on the old iPad. The screen is very nice, haven't noticed this jelly thing. But it's thicker and I'm finding it harder to hold on to, feels like I could drop it any minute. First time I might have to invest in a case.

I went for the starlight one with an electric orange case. Absolutely love it. Also splurged on the Apple Pencil.

Absolutely love it.

Me too. I swear the iPad is loading web pages even faster than my desktop PC. They just seem to appear instantly. Very impressed with the device. A massive leap from my old iPad mini 4. Really glad I went for this as I very nearly went for the iPad air. But that is almost twice as heavy so not really something to take out and about.

Web browsing is mostly single-threaded, The A15 in iPad is definitely faster than your i7-8700 by a big margin in ST workloads.

Before you all go to sleep tonight, say a little prayer and hope Apple announce a new iPad mini this week. I'm knackering up the battery in my iPhone as it's currently my only Apple device and I need a new iPad to reduce the usage load. :p
