You have to be quick because these offers don't tend to be around for long and I am not even sure if they get fulfilled but Amazon are currently listing the 15" M3 MacBook Air 16GB model with 512GB SSD for £1499 in select colours.

Edit. Stupid me. It's the 13" model. :(

I have had my M3 Air for a couple of weeks now after sending back another M1 due to eye strain. So far for me I have had no eye strain or headaches using the M3 Air. Just hope it lasts for years as I doubt anything going forward will be PWM free..

Silent upgrade today for both M2 and M3 airs. Not sure if it was mentioned in other threads, but they now come with 16gb as standard, for the same price!

Nice, very nice.
More than nice imo!! tbh Deserving of it's own thread, but i'm too lazy. Unless i'm mistaken you can no longer buy Macs with 8gb!

Edit: I guess this means Apple Intelligence performance will be better with more RAM and those with an 8gb machine will probably not get as much out of the AI. For those who don;t care about AI (like me) it's just a free £200 upgrade.

I’m not sure they deserve any credit for this change. The £200 charge for 16gb RAM was offensive.

Edit: it’s still £200 to go from 256gb to 512gb of storage. That’s still offensive.

Less 'nice' and more looooong overdue, shame they couldn't give the 256GB base the same bump but I'll take it. Finally have a worthwhile upgrade on my 2013 MBP.

Not going to go down well with existing 8GB MBA owners.
