**The Official BioShock Thread**

I ordered mine at the start of last week and it's still not here!

I bet they're using Royal Fail. It was dispatched on Wednesday so certainly should be here by now :mad: Decided to spend my bank holiday weekend doing work so I'll have a mid-week bioshock break :p
 
I finished it about an hour ago and only played it for about 10 hours at the most! Ive been at work the past few days so Ive had to play it when I get back. I got the bad ending though - a big tip which really pays off it rescuing the little sisters instead of harvesting them.

Thought it was in there too just couldn't find it in there!

Just checked and im standing on it but still cant see where it is!

Game bug or me being stupit?

Im starting to get extremely bored with it now - just started Olympus Heights? after Ryans office... starting to be a big yawn fest... not sure what the hype is about.

Basic story, basic gameplay - nowhere near as good as the genius of SS2
 
Just finished it, I gotta say I was really disappointed with how it ended and how few options it has after you complete it. I wouldn't have minded at least a choice of chapters to replay. It's yet another "just the game" for £39:95 rip off. I can't wait for Halo 3 at least you'll get some kind of replay value.

I'm losing interest because of the way you die, but everything else stays the same, if you know what I mean. Fight a Big Daddy and half kill it then die. When you come back to it it's still half dead. Takes the edge off dieing !
 
It's the first game in ages that I've start replaying as soon as I've finished it. This time harvesting all the Little Sisters and getting all the Plasmids. My favourite so far is probably the Decoy! Simple but effective.
 
My copy just arrived in the post. It was the steel tin version, which I wasn't expecting. Really looking forward to playing through this as I have been looking forward to it for a while.

How long has it been taking people to play through?
 
If you really take your time and explore every area, do lots of hacking, look for secrets, a long time. I reload if I die too. I've been playing it for nearly 20 hours now and I'm only approaching a confrontation with Ryan.

Fully upgraded shotgun is amazing.

Ditto, I'm taking my time through the game, therefore all sisters must be harvested first! :o:cool: I'll save them on my second run though the game. Although even though I've been playing it for 3 days, I am a bit shocked to be on Ryan's engineering level already...I hope I'm not near the end.

No not really, the bathysphere things give you an indication of the levels,thats about 65% id say.

Ive been exploring and rescueing every little sister, but just getting a bit tired of the same old same old with each level...

Story had an interesting, though relatively easy to guess twist imo - but nothing to write home about :(
 
My original plan was to play through on Normal saving them and then harvest them on Hard so I am more powerful on the harder difficulty(if that is how it works??)
 
I dont want to spoil anything really but im doing it on hard and saving them - and you may get less ADAM but you do get gifts every so often :)
