A little too soon that stoppage in my opinion, nothing clean really landing, needed to go another few seconds.

Great fight though and hats off to them both, joshua answered a lot of questions and Wlad fought hard, with the heart of a champion.

Still concerned about Joshua gassing and being wild when hurt, hopefully this fight teaches him some valuable lessons.

Calling out fury already lol..
Maybe this will be the catalyst for Fury to get himself together and sort his life out to get back to a fighting weight. That's a mega money fight hero v villain, 2 Brits, Fury will sell the hell out of it doing dodgy stuff, be even bigger than tonight.

He's not ready for AJ this year though, it'll take him about 6 months and a tuneup fight or 2 to get back in shape!

He's simply too big. He'd still have the power at 17st but also be a lot leaner, probably carry more speed and use less energy as a result of carrying less muscle. I'm hoping his trainers and him will have realised that after tonight.

I feel Klitschko could have capitalised more after that knockdown in the 6th but I imagine he was warey after that 5th and just trying to make sure he didn't get caught.

But the way Klitschko came back after the 5th was unbelievable and then AJ doing it as well was amazing.

Superb fight overall.

I reckon klitchko still had steam in him when it got stopped. I've never watched an AJ/Klitchko fight, though I've gained a lot of respect for both. Klitchko more-so.

Has to be a rematch, too good not to be.

Although can't see promoter wanting to throw him in again with klits
Guess it depends how desperate Wlad is for another pay day. That's the best Wlad will ever be again where as Joshua will learn and get better from this. I can only see a rematch going one way and that's a comfortable win for AJ.

Took AJ a couple of rounds to recover though tbf, a younger less cautious fighter might have stopped him in those rounds.
Great fight though and AJ has the heart of a lion :-)

A lot of intellelligence shown by Anthony was it in the 6th, the round after he was knocked down. He spent a whole round dodging and weaving even though his legs looked steady and could have risked fighting back. But recovered sensibly and slowly started the offence round by round
