I am not actual a boxing fan, just occasional watch a fight, but I am having a flashback. Was there a big name boxer who either was rushed to hospital with brain injuries after the fight or died after the fight, pretty sure it was a heavyweight. Maybe this was all a dream I had years ago?

You're probably thinking of Michael Watson who suffered a serious brain injury against Chris Eubank in 1991.

I'm not a big boxing fan but I can't fathom why Mayweather wouldn't want to go for one last fight and actually beat Marciano's records and finish on 50-0 before retiring.

With an ego like his I thought it would be a dead cert!

Mind you I thought Calzaghe would have wanted the same but he stopped on 46-0!

May weather just strikes me as the sort that is going to "retire" again so he can come back maybe May 2017 for the 50th and milk the money.

He 'retired' after the Hatton fight then came back, I wouldn't 100% believe it's the end this time either but if he's wise he doesn't sit it out for too long as old father time is going to catch him up sooner rather than later.

I also think the way he spends money he may end up coming back for a big payday eventually regardless of his intentions now.

Surprise surprise - another points win for Mayweather, another hand picked opponent, another boring win.

I'll hand it to him, as a boxer and knowing his craft inside out, he's brilliant. Never gets hit, never in trouble, wins fights easy using his tactical knowledge and defensive skills and for that, I have the upmost respect for him.

As a fighter - boring as hell. I'm not expecting anyone to constantly KO people but 2 KO's in 9 years, hell only 5 in 14 years - he's certainly not "entertaining" as a boxer.

He's paid to win, he wins, as a boxer, superb - as a fighter, not so for me.

He'll be back - 50-0 beckons, new MGM Arena opens next year etc etc. Another hand picked opponent.

Incredible....

Tyson Fury is wearing a full Batman outfit at his presser with Wladimir Klitschko. With mask. I have to interview him in a minute

Was a pretty funny press conference and it will be one to remember.

Klitschko said it was like a theatre and he was amused but he will let his fists do the talking. My money is still on Klitschko.
