*** The Official Boxing Thread ***Do Not Discuss Illegal Streams

Bit of a dangerous tick over fight for Whyte really when AJ is pretty much on the horizon for him in April. Could have probably picked an easier opponent but fair play for taking this one!

Really disappointed at the date clash though.

On the same night as Frampton v Warrington and both are box office. If this doesn’t drive people towards illegal streaming then nothing will. Heanrnjust wants to do anything to hurt Warrens box office buys.

Honestly thought this was some sort of joke when I heard about it this morning. The guy is a featherweight/bantomweight with his kick being his main weapon - something taken away from him for this fight no doubt. I mean wtf is Mayweather doing? His gambling addiction has sent him down a path of self destruction.

Definitely worth a watch... Bellew is likely to be outclassed but he will definitely go out on his shield for his last fight. Usyk doesn't have crazy power so if bellew can take his shots and land some hurtful counters then there is always a chance of an upset albeit small.

I generally support Brits but here I'm wanting Usyk to win so that maybe he can someday fight Joshua. For that, I'd be happy with either winner - more interested in just seeing how that fight would play out as I think it could potentially be the best heavyweight fight since Lewis retired.

This is Bellew’s cash out fight. He has no hope. Usyk is far too good. To win, he has to do something he has never done before, beat a reigning champion.

Probably not much of a cash out TBH, outside of serious boxing fans Usyk is an unkown.

I think the game plan for Bellew will be speed and stamina, jump on Usyk if he gets then chance.

His purse is a guaranteed £4m. That's a decent cash out prize.

It will put his total earnings for his last 3 fights at just under £10m. Nice amount to retire on.
