AJ with his fake demeanor. The real AJ came out after the end of the fight.

I don't think that's fair to be honest.

How many of us, could be involved with crime and be living a crap life - then turn it around like AJ has and go on to achieve those things. None of it was handed to him on a plate - he went and did it, all of it and it obviously hurts him when he comes up short..

In the end last night it was cringy and grim when he had a meltdown, but all we see is the 1% at the very end - we don't see all the graft these fighters put into preparing for these fights behind closed doors, it has to come out someway or another.

Graft, hard work, determination whatever you want to call it.

None of that can be used as an excuse for AJs behavior at the end of the fight

It was odd, I can only think he literally had to many blows to the head which caused that drunk style cringe on the mic.

He did better than I expected and I thought in the 9th he had a real chance.

The last 3 rounds cost him big time!

That speech was just embarrassing. He's such a weird guy.

Hope we never see him again.
What I don’t get is why are you watching him? If you don’t like him then don’t waste your time. Constantly posting about how much you can’t stand a bloke is almost as cringy as AJs speech.

Absolute cringe. AJ needs to grow up. Me me me, you lost mate, hand over the mic. Privileged idiot.

He's surely the opposite of privileged? Rags to riches by putting his body on the line.

Or do you mean that he's moaning whilst the guy opposite literally fought in a war recently? I can't disagree with that.

You have two fighters in a fight you dont have to like aj to watch the other guy beat him :)
Of course and I’m sure he appreciates the payday he gets of the back of it lol.

It’s a bit weird though hating on an English guy and cheering on a Ukrainian. I mean I’ve always preferred AJ over Fury, but I’ve always cheered for Fury when he’s fought Klitsckho and Wilder. The level of hate in here is bizarre though.

Think some of you should put some respect on AJs name.

He, himself, carried British boxing for the last few years and because of him everyone is eating better. The platform he has given to smaller fighters and the things he's done for grassroots boxing in the country shouldn't be ignored. He's just lost, and not embarrassingly either, to a pound for pound great. There is zero shame in that.

He may have said some stupid stuff and carried on a bit of an idiot last night but if you're a fan of boxing and being objective, he has done so much for the sport in the country that he deserves a bit of a respect. Yes, he lost to Usyk and would probably lose to Usyk 10/10 times, sometimes someone just has your number. But he has fought all comers and tested himself at the top of the sport. That's a lot more than some other fighters do.

The level of hate is bizarre,

The way some boxers behave, even with AJ's speech at the end of that - it was relatively tame compared to many!

What winds people up is the ultra clean media image that is often portrayed, it's like he's reading from a script, saying stuff he doesn't actually believe in. I'm not sure why it does wind people up so much though, as you say there are far worse people out there!

That bit. His story doesn’t even compare and as usual he’s acting like the main character.

True but he clearly has his own struggles. However, that wasn't the time and place, it was completely disrespectful. Sometimes it gets too much for people and they make mistakes. I'm sure you've made mistakes. He took quite a few shots in the last few rounds, he clearly wasn't all there.
