Heavyweight boxing has turned into the WWE
Yep. Its become a pantomime.

Even the Usyk stuff was a load of nonsense, its all to generate a story to sell tickets / ppvs.

To call out Joyce and Wilder but dismiss the best boxer there in Usyk was hilarious.

I've got no interest in Tyson Fury fighting unless it's stepping between the ropes next time against Usyk.

Not AJ, Not Wilder 4, Not Chisora 4, Not some bloke from his family's campsite, we only need Usyk for all the belts.

Id take Fury vs AJ to be fair even if its a few years too late. Fury vs Usyk should be the fight and it shouldnt be an option but it wont be.

Sky bet are offering 3/1 for a Fury decision, easy £200 return if you stick £50 on.

The problem with this bet is that Fury stopped Chisora 8 years ago. Derek is well past it now, and Tyson is probably in or close to his prime. Those odds look good on paper, but not really when you think about it.

It seems to me that Fury will toy with Chisora for 12 rounds and give his mate a pay day rather than KO him.

Finished him in 10 instead of 12, oh well.

only good thing about this fight was the hype at the end for 2023. Chisora is a machine. At the press conference they mentioned that fury/chisora had a bet on did they reaveal what that was? Fingers crossed for a big year in boxing in 2023

AJ vs Tyson....

Only fight i would like to see.

I want to see all the heavyweights mix it. Sauerland needs to somehow get a Super Series in the heavyweight division and make the best fight the best.
AJ, Fury, Usyk, Joyce, Wilder, Ruiz, Hrgovic, Hunter, Sanchez and Jared Anderson. I'm probably missing some names but seeing all those mix it would be fireworks.

But this is boxing and instead we'll get ****-poor match ups made.

There are some good fights in the lower divisions though. Inoue is fighting next Tuesday, looking forward to that. Poor Paul Butler having to face The Monster.

Very clickbaity. Fury has already said he may not have surgery after that interview. He had 2 elbow spurs when he went in against Wilder and only had surgery on 1 of them, since then he has had 1 remaining elbow spur injury and has fought 2 more fights with the injury.
Fair enough but as he said why would you then fight a meaningless fight against Chisora if you had a long running injury. It’s exactly why Usyk decided not to go straight in with Fury, it would’ve made much more sense for Fury to do the same would it not? Instead he’s got his excuses in early.
