The WBA awarded Paul a fake title.

Hardly worth posting about it but it's so ridiculous that I felt I should.
That’s embarrassing the WBA have just made a mockery of their organisation. What is wrong with these people do they not understand how it dilutes the meaning of being an actual champion.

Surely they could have given him a trophy if they really wanted to give him credit? Also what's the credit for, services to boxing? All he done is bring his YT followers with him, which I suppose is all the WBA evidently care about $$$$.

Credit for what exactly? He’s done nothing of any note I couldn’t give a flying monkeys about casual yt followers. If you’ve ever read any of the comments you’d know they are largely morons.

The boxing institutions are giving him credit for bringing his YT ****s with him as it undoubtedly means more money for the money men.

Have they ever given out a fake title before?

You could argue that the ‘regular championship belt that Dubois has is a fake title. It’s all about the money though, more “champs” the more sanctioning fees.

To be fair to Paul, he did co-promote one of the biggest fights this year (Taylor vs Serano) which does deserve a bit of credit.

I am (not really) shocked it was the WBA to do this and not the WBC. The WBC love making one off belts.

Backing Yarde but it's going to be a big ask. Yarde can bang and, as Johnson shown, Beterbiev can be dropped. But can Yarde keep him down? I don't know. It's going to be a who hits who first event
