Funny that Mcguigan said the last third of the fight was great, that was when his fighter was getting absolutely lit up :p

I think we can forget a rematch after that. There won't be enough money to be made to make Frampton risk it because had Quigg turned up earlier it could have been very different.

Yeah opportunities for Carl to knock him out instead of 24/7 blocking ;D

Can be no complaints from Quigg or his team, he didn't do anything for the first 5/6 rounds, whereas Frampton was at least throwing punches. You can't win rounds if you don't throw punches.

Anyway, my apologies for the UFC spoiler. I won't let it happen again I promise. Guess I was just so shocked I didn't think properly before posting it.

It's the Ulster boys!! Making all the noise!!

What's next for Framton? Would have to be a fight in Belfast? The past two fights he has traveled and won but has not looked his best?

I found Quiggs tactics truly bizarre, his trainer is to blame because Quigg was just following instructions. Did anyone notice after 7 rounds Quiggs trainer told him Sky have you 6-1 down, and he looked shocked. Then he actually started fighting and did reasonably well from then on. Gallagher thought the first few rounds were even as Quigg 'wasn't get hit clean' and 'blocked most the shots'. I agree he did, but as Frampton was doing very little, Quigg was doing absolutely nothing. Those early rounds cost him the fight and it was down to the instructions he was being given in his corner.

Either way, rigondeaux would eat both of these for breakfast imo.

Been watching all the canelo vs khan press conference's in London and America

Super hyped for this fight proper career defining fight for khan imo :)

Listened to the frampton v quigg fight on 5 live and they made it sound like a Frampton domination. Just watched the fight on catchup and it was so close! A lot of the Frampton work was blocked by Quigg.
