Surely it's just going to be a little move around exhibition. Surely no sanctioning body or governing state will allow this?

Sometimes it's painfully obvious boxing is a business first, entertainment second and a credible sport a distant third.

But chumps like myself are like an abused spouse. We get served up this nonsense but then it keeps us sweet by giving us the odd undisputed/high level fight.

Boxing will change, you don't see how good it treats me when people aren't around

Paul seems to think he's a professional fighter. He's got a pro record :cry:

To be fair, he is a professional by the literal definition of a pro fighter. There's professional journeymen worse than Paul. The issue is that he is essentially a 6-1 novice headlining shows and saying he'd fight and beat Canelo.

But I don't hold it against him for headlining shows as he has built his own fanbase and to be fair to him, he's doing womens boxing a solid.

His pro boxing career/record contains 1 poor quality boxer, who he lost to.

He is a professional marketing guy, not a pro boxer IMO.

I've got no issues with him running shows, I've got issues with him referring to his record as if it's actually worth something.

But he literally a professional boxer. He’s being commissioned by the local boards and had a professional record.

He’s no different to fighters we’ve never heard of turning pro and fighting on small hall shows.

He’s never going to win a world title but he is training like a pro and he’s doing what most pros do on their debut. Fight no hopers.

There’s no need to gate keep the title ‘professional’ from him when the truth is he would probably beat the bottom 500 of his division on box rec because let’s face it, most boxers aren’t going to win a southern area title let alone a domestic one.

Been saying this for a while now, It's more like WWE now and Youtubers and women getting in on the act, Seeing women go at it is disgusting to watch quite frankly..

There's nothing to argue about. Yes he lost to Tommy Furry, who I also don't rate, but that doesn't mean he isn't a professional fighter. Being a 'professional boxer' isn't exclusive to those challenging for world honours.

Kristian Laight had a record of 12 wins, 279 losses and 9 draws. He is still referred to as a professional boxer. There will be someone in the cruiserweight (?) division with a similar record who Paul could beat. People aren't going to tune in though.

I have zero interest in watching his fights unless he was genuinely trying to go through the levels, but he is a professional boxer.

Jai Opetia is probably one of my favourite boxers at the moment. Look at his first few fights. Paul could've probably beaten them too. There's nothing that unusual about the level of opponents he is fighting
 
I don't find womens boxing disgusting, just boring. Though I always find the Baumgaunder TKO of Harper a bit amusing. It's like she's playing an online game and her avatar gets disconnected

I've got way more respect for someone who's been in 300 fights. That's definitely a professional.

Despite what is technically true, he's not a pro boxer in my eyes and certainly doesn't have the credibility to go around claiming he has a great record etc.

Paul at it again with daft fights, i hope Tyson gets in insane shape and teaches him a lesson.

But i suspect he will gas out after a round or two, i hear he is on the weed all the time these days.
