I doubt the rematch would get many buys if the first fight turns out to be a draw. People will buy this first fight because the prospect of Jake Paul finally get knocked out is higher than usual. If he gets a draw then what reason is there to tune in a second time ?

Just remember Tyson is almost 60. Genuinely believe there is more likelihood that Tyson gets knocked out than he knocks out Paul.
Father-time has an incredible record of millions of wins and zero defeats... He also tapped on Tyson's shoulder after the McBride fight almost 20 years ago.

And the idea of seeing Tyson beat up by some one like Paul is just sad.

hes been on all the steroids gear you can get lol. he will be fine. i think it maybe as already said though somekind of wwe agreement between them. to make cash. thing is in the roy jones fight for eg mike agreed and not many know to not hit roy jones in the head. so basically could have battered roy jones jnr but didnt. go rewatch the fight he literally just sparred him. never really touched his face. mikes power will still be there probably even stronger now. you dont lose that but you do get slower and tired more easily but as said hes been on every bit of gear under the sun lol.

It's going to be a roided up 60 year old vs a roided up 20-something. The difference between this and the RJJ fight is that RJJ already has legend status. It's RJJ. For Paul, knocking out or hurting someone like Tyson is going to give him infamy and he's the type of person to take that opportunity if it arises.

I don't think people are putting any respect to the ageing process in life. A near 60 year old, who gasses after throwing a combination, should not be taking hits to the head.

Then to add in activity. In the last 20 years Tyson had a ****-poor showing agaisnt McBride and a glorified sparring match agaisnt RJJ. Between that time he's been polishing off magic mushrooms and smoking enough weed to make Snoop Dogg blush. Paul may not be fighting exactly stellar competition but he is active and he has a whole heap of youth and the energy that comes with it on his side.

This is not Iron Mike. I'm not even sure it's Aluminium Mike at this point.

Plus apparently he smokes more dope than a hippy tent at woodstock

As much as I want Tyson to win, (my god I REALLY want him to take that ****'s head off) reality is taking precedence, and it's a 60 year old vs a 20 year old.

I just can't see it, I think he'll come out aggressively, ducking, weaving throwing big shots - but missing, whilst Paul runs away for the first few rounds, then Tyson gasses and ends up going down.

I think it's a miserable state of affairs.

Exactly. He has been living life in his retirement and you can't just undo that with a training camp. Maybe he could've done this going into his 50s but going into his 60s is bonkers. He peaked when he was what, 24-26?

Literally a life time ago.

100%. I don't want a boxer I loved growing up, I even had the slit in my hair like him when I was 6 or 7, getting wailed on and beaten up by a YouTuber. But age is no joke.

I'm 34. I can't even do things I was able to do at 20 without feeling something the following day.

this always bothers me as a young tyson vs lewis would have been a totally different story. the 20 year old tyson no one could deal with. he just ending up fighting lewis at the wrong time. lewis is good but he wasnt tyson good both at peak tyson destroys anyone even now.

Did you type that with a straight face. Lenox Lewis wasn't as good as Tyson? Behave lol.

Tyson wasn't even the best in his own era let alone to say he destroys anyone even now. Tyson mania is bonkers. What are Tysons best wins? Yes, he did a great job getting the belt at such a young age but the facts are he has a terrible record when facing actual good fights. Outside of an old dusty Larry Holmes who did he ever really beat? Bruno? Leon Spinks?

I love Tyson, really exciting fighter but he has to be one of the most overrated fighters ever (note: I am saying he is overrated. not that he isn't good) when you look at his career, and not the highlights, you'd think he is a top 5 ATG heavyweight but I'm not sure he is even a top 10.

Fury is miles away from Lennox Lewis in my opinion, Fury just hasn't fought enough world title fights to even be considered with that level of esteem,

Lewis I think had almost 20 world title fights, Mike Tyson had like 40 (numbers vary) world title fights, Holyfield had 25 world title fights.

Tyson Fury has 7 world title fights (I think)

It's just not enough.

6 Title fights, I think. 3 agaisnt Wilder, 1 Wladamir, 1 against Whyte and 1 against Chisora.

Since his come back he fought Seferi, Schwartz and Wallin all around and between the Wilder trilogy. I should just check BoxRec because I think I'm missing something as I'm sure it was 7 but I can't think of it.

Edit: Nope. Most definitely only 6 world title fights.

its true at his peak he would beat anyone but he peaked too young then went off the rails. 20 year old tyson would destroy lewis in a few rounds. what you said about actual fights he had after that period is true. every hard fight he lost but by then he was screwed in the head and lost all the best people around him. lewis did well but boring to watch fight wise tbh. i prefer explosive fighters who take the fight to people lewis is jab jab jab all night. like watching paint dry. i wouldnt put tyson as top 5 heavyweight of all time overall because of what we discussed but if you put the 20 year old tyson against anyone he would win. no doubt.

think fury would hammer lewis tbh. each next generation is stronger faster better. its just how generations go. so it comes down to who is the best in their era. fury has a 7ft reach lol. hes as good or better than lewis with a jab. so hed jab lewis head off. is fury one of the greatest of all time id put him in the top 10 but at end of the day you only as good as the people you can put in front of you and realistically whos been tier one opponents during his career ? 2 or 3 at most. lewis did have a really good era to be in boxing wise and you always look better in a good era of boxing. so it makes the boxer look better.

@~>Dg<~ Fury just hasn't fought enough fights, you can say what you like - but he's just spent far too much time sitting on belts, ducking the likes of AJ, fighting Chisora for a laugh or messing himself up - he just doesn't have the CV.

I'm not going to take away the Klitschko or Wilder fights away from him - but it's not enough, he just hasn't fought enough top level fighters.

hasnt ducked aj he sent a contract to him aj didnt except it. i think he beats usyk and maybe we will get the fight most uk people want with AJ after usyk. i guess thats all down to how the usyk two fights go. in a way though i can see a reason fury might not want to fight AJ. imagine to him hes offered him a contract to fight him before even wilder. AJ didnt want it. then fury smashes wilder. now go usyk then if he beats him gives AJ a chance at all the belts after dodging HIM ! haha i can get why fury doesnt like him and basically he would have done all the work beat usyk twice which AJ couldnt do just to give AJ a chance to get the belts. haha i think most would be like screw you in that case.
