And that’s the thing does AJ seriously still have honour for himself? Or happy for paycheck and doesn’t care what comes of it if it’s rigged
I'm in two minds, it is robbing the stupid but equally it's easy money and his job is to fight for money. It speaks to the human condition in many ways.

Pride fighters should try and earn as much money as possible.

Tommy Hearns literally lost his house last week. That’s after he’s sold all of his belts. Honour doesn’t pay the bills when you get older

I appreciate boxing makes a lot more money today but it’s a tale as old as time then losing their money

I don't see how this is relevant to AJ. He's worth 100s of millions. It's purely greed.

It's telling that Francis Ngannou turned down JP.

AJ basically brought mega structure people watching to boxing again. sure hes earnt lots of money but its not uncommon amongst super stars in many sports to earn this kind of money. basket ball baseball boxing to name a few.

as for being greed its common sense no one unless they mental would turn down that money. dont believe Naganou for one minute. deal probably fell through after it started. he had the fight with aj for eg which for aj was literally as easy.

I really hope this fight isn't fixed and Joshua destroys Paul in two rounds.

I get that this is easy money for Joshua, but he comes across as though he has a bit of pride. I can't imagine him signing up for a rigged fight regardless of the payout. He'll earn more fighting Fury if that happens next year so it's not as though he's struggling to find anyone to fight.

He'll be a laughing stock if he loses or the fight lasts more than a few rounds. I can't see him wanting that sort of negative attention for money, but I could be wrong.

I will say this. Delusion is one hell of a drug and I do have respect for Jake stepping in the ring whenever he fights but even more so going from Gervonta Davis to bloody AJ. He has got a set of cajones on him. Stupid cojones but cajones still.

I'd get in the ring with AJ for 50 million. I'd be knocked out within 5 seconds and waking up in hospital 50 million richer. I'm sure a lot of people would step in a ring for that amount of money.

I don't like Jake Paul but he certainly knows how to make money.

50/1 odds on Jake winning, almost worth sticking a quid on it :D

I cant see if being fixed, JP wins regardless of the outcome of this fight just by walking in the ring with a HW champion - unless he's put down within 10 seconds but realistically i cant see that happening, AJ has to much to loose risking something in the opening moments.

The skeptic inside me says AJ will win and say something along the lines of JP was a fighter to the end, validating his boxing credentials. both walk away with a nice paycheck.

I'm not certain waking up is a certainty. I'm not sure normal people have any idea how hard someone like AJ hits.

Yep, if you're not conditioned and the correct weight/size for taking punches from an opponent like that, you could be talking serious injury.

Oh I get that he and many heavyweights could do some serious damage, I'd just be praying for a light jab (that's all it would likely take to end me) and to land safely :D

On a serious note though, it's why this fight intrigues me, Jake Paul has no idea what he's in for if it's a real fight. A few people like Lewis and Usyk when asked about the fight, made comparisons of a Supercar vs a Fiat which is why I can't see it lasting beyond 2 rounds if it's not rigged.

If it's real Jake Paul could end up like Michael Watson or Blackwell. I'm staying up for it now as I'm dying to see if this is a legitimate fight....

The only way Paul has a chance here, is to cause AJ some sort of injury like a big cut to the eye from a head-clash or something - unless AJ turns up into the ring with late-stage AIDS, a terminal illness or somehow decides not to fight - I just don't understand how Paul even has any success at all, let alone wins?

At least with Ngannou he was a giant who was an MMA world champion, had serious fighting skill and is a genuinely frightening guy - Paul is... just nothing in comparison.

lol....

I feel like an awful person for being up to watch this, but meh - I've always been a fan of AJ's fights, so it's as weird and interesting as it is perverse.
